Our CHROMEX Ceramic finish will reduce heat, is more durable than chrome, increases exhaust gas flow and under normal use, never changes color.
We also use it in place of chrome or polished aluminum on:

We also offer a clear 95% gloss ceramic that can be applied over almost anything painted or polished. Just think, no more polishing! This coating is impervious to most organic solvents, gas, oil, etc.

Based on normal operating temperatures and conditions.
1) Chromex Exterior only---up to 1100 degrees F. Exhaust temperature.
(Exhaust temperature does not mean direct flame temperature)
2) Insulkote Interior coating---up to 1600+ degrees F.
3) Chromex ext / w insulkote int---- up to 1400 degrees F.
4) Insulkuto dbl / double coat Chromex ext----up to 1600 degrees F.
5) Stainless C172 Exterior only---- up to 1100+ degrees F.
6) Stainless C172 Ext w/ insulkote int.-----up to 1500 degrees F.
7) V Series Coatings Exterior only---up to 1300+ degrees F.
8) V Series ext / w insulkote int---- up to 1700+ degrees F.
Tri coat systems and Dbl coat applications will rise increase performance level of coatings approx 20%.
